We came here for dinner on a weekday and it was quite busy. I liked how the building looked. The staff is very friendly and nice. We were seated on the second floor and it was pretty busy. We tried the chicken pot pie as well as the fish and chips.
The chicken pot pie was decent; however, it was nothing to rave about. It was filling though.
Fish and chips were good in general. I liked the crispiness of the fish and the sauce that tagged along with it.
Overall good hangout spot but food is ok. Definitely, a good place in general for this area.

Pros: Lots of trademark dishes here, friendly, cool, service
Cons: Busy
Stars: 4

This was a great find!! The service was great and the food was amazing with very large portions! Two of us got the fish and chips, one person got shrimp and chips with a side of truffle Mac and Cheese and one got the steak with a side of shrimp! Everyone really enjoyed their meal! Definitely will be coming back on our next visit to Tahoe!

When we arrived, the first thing the waitress said was that they were getting slammed and it would be a 40 minute wait to sit inside.  She said there was outdoor seating, but wasn't sure if we'd ever get service.  Quite an unusual greeting, but we decided to sit outside.  Nobody served us, but after about 10-15 minutes, a seat opened up inside.  I'd recommend getting there early as they seem short staffed.

The food was delicious though.  We had the Guiness beef stew, and the chicken pot pie.  Both were outstanding.  Loved the flaky crust on the chicken pot pie.  Portion sizes were enormous, we had more than enough for breakfast the next day.

This quaint and off-the-beaten path eatery was wonderful. Pub decor and good food to match. It's just not UK style pub grub but also family favorite fare. A good bear and spirit selection.

Great food service and atmosphere. Do be careful with the truffle oil it's rich. Delicious though. Definitely recommend if you have the chance

Wow what an experience! Great food, great service. This place is the real deal.  A local favorite, family atmosphere, positive vibes all around.  I ordered the  shepherds pie, wife ordered the corn beef and cabbage.  Simply delicious - serving sizes were almost as big as the kilts hanging on the wall.

Atmosphere is good, even plenty of diners are around, as well as service. They seem not to assign waiters/waitress to customers, which might be very effective to provide better service. Food (we had pizza and pastas) was not so bad..
